The Old Handmade Café Curtains | Vintage Handwoven Cotton

A pair of café curtains made from unused mid-century handwoven cotton, carefully stored for many years.
The soft ivory fabric has cheerful red woven stripes, and delicate lace edging adds a lovely finishing touch.

They let daylight through while bringing a little privacy and warmth to the window.

The fabric’s gentle irregularities are part of its handwoven character.

There are also a few light marks from storage, which should wash out with gentle laundering.

These are shown in the photographs so you can see the curtains as they are.

Made slowly, from beautiful fabric that was waiting to be used.
